The #1 Brightest Low Beam Halogen Kit for reflectors

Best for Reflector Style Headlights in low beams

Bosch Gigalight Plus 120%

This Halogen Upgrade kit far exceeds the standard when it comes to lighting, and even beats out all OSRAM, Sylvania, and Philips models! Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Halogen

Runner Up - The Brightest Low Beam Halogen Kit for reflectors

Best for Reflector Style Headlights in low beams

Sylvania Silverstar Ultra

We realize the Bosch Gigalight Plus kit only comes in a few sizes, so we wanted to provide an additional choice for another great set in your low-beam headlights. Not many bulbs exceeded the 500 lux barrier in the low beam, but the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras hit a peak of 507 lux. They also come with a benefit of a whiter color, as they just have a cleaner looking beam. As always, a highly recommended product.

  • 3.8 Star Overall Rating
  • +36% More Low-Beam Light (507 Peak Hotspot/Distance vs 373 for Stock @ 25ft)
  • 1626 Lumens/bulb (vs 1564 for Stock)
  • 3675k Color Temperature vs 3425k for Stock
  •   Lifespan: 458hrs (Ok)
  • $35 - $49 Cost

GE Megalight Ultra +130%

GE Simply makes great products, and when it comes to headlight bulbs they don't disappoint. The +150% model is in fact a bit brighter, however even more limited in sizes. All in all, you really can't go wrong with any of their Megalight Ultra models!

Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Halogen

The Brightest High Beam Halogen Kit for projectors

Best for Projector Style Headlights in high beams

Sylvania Silverstar Ultra

The most popular kit in the US, Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's produce a great beam in reflectors, but an incredible beam in a high-beam projector. There were a few models that were brighter in a high beam, however the sizes were limited, and the Ultra's offer virtually every bulb size on the market.

Philips Diamond Vision Halogen

The Best 'Xenon Look' Upgrade for any Style Headlights

Philips Diamond Vision

This upgrade kit won't win you any brightness awards, but it will look as good or better than vehicles that feature xenon bulbs in terms of the color. It has an astonishing pure white color temperature of about 5500k based on our tests, while being much brighter than other models like the PIAA xenon models. If you want a less 'blue' tone kit, check out the OSRAM Cool Blue Hyper or Cool Blue Boost, as those sit a bit under 5000k, and are a bit brighter than this kit.

  • 0.6 Star Overall Rating (Reflector)
  • -28% (Reflector) / -37% (Projector) Low-Beam Light
  • 51% Less Total Lumens/kit
  • 5500k Color Temperature vs 3425k for Stock
  •   Lifespan: 824hrs (Very Good)
  • $20 - $34 Cost
